Meet Jade

Jade Owen is an attorney dedicated to helping clients from all walks of life facing a variety of issues requiring legal assistance and representation. As demonstrated by her wide array of personal and professional experiences and interests, Jade’s practice is accustomed to serving a diversified group of clientele, where there is no cookie-cutter approach to her methods and strategies for resolution.

Born and raised in rural Central Illinois, Jade graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Criminology. She then relocated to the West Coast, attending school at California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. While completing her graduate studies, Jade was very active as a research assistant. She collected and analyzed data and helped write published articles on various standard police questioning procedures, including lineups and showups, as well as persuasion techniques in false confessions. She simultaneously gained experience by working with Los Angeles County Juvenile Probation and the Edelman Children’s Court.

Wishing to be located closer to family, Jade ultimately decided to attend law school at Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. In an effort to diversify her skillset beyond that of the criminal justice system, Jade pursued certificates in Corporate and Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law. Prior to graduation, she additionally had the opportunity to work in the Legal Department in the Action and Olympic Sports Division of a world-renown talent, brand, and property management agency. She was further able to gain practical experience at a law firm in her hometown, primarily focused in the practice areas of personal injury and medical malpractice.

Jade eventually landed in Music City and became licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee in 2023. Since her arrival, she has had the privilege of working closely with other solo-practicing attorneys, which ultimately inspired her to open her own practice. Although a Nashville transplant, Jade has developed and maintained important connections throughout the city, including with well-known, seasoned attorneys.

In her free time, Jade enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active outdoors, and traveling. She is a huge sports fan, with football, tennis, and motorsports being her favorites. She also loves interior design. Jade stays busy with her Yorkie, Sylvie, who sometimes likes to make her presence known at the office.
